- Leadership Skills: Ability to promote academic excellence, ensure transparent governance, and foster teamwork within the university. Experience in academic and financial management, strategic planning, resource mobilization, and networking with national and international institutions is required.
- Integration Skills: Ability to incorporate agricultural research into education and extend its benefits to farmers.
- Interview Eligibility: Candidates who score 70% or higher in the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be 65 years old or younger by the application deadline.
- Appointment Term: The Vice Chancellor will be appointed for a 4-year term, serving at the discretion of the Chancellor.
