Importance instruction:
- All candidates get a 5-year age relaxation as per Government Rules.
- Additional age relaxations are available for certain categories:
- 3 years for Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, tribes of Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir, and Northern Areas.
- 3 years for candidates from Sindh (R) and Balochistan for BPS-15 and below posts under the Federal Government.
- 15 years or the actual service period in the Armed Forces (whichever is less) for Armed Forces personnel.
- 10 years up to age 55 for in-service Government servants with 2 years of continuous service.
- 10 years for disabled persons for BPS-15 and below posts.
- 5 years for widows, sons, or daughters of deceased civil servants.
- Government servants need to provide an NOC during the interview.
- The Directorate General, Immigration & Passports supports and provides equal opportunities to female applicants.
- Successful candidates for specific posts must complete a mandatory NITB Course during the probation period.
