SELECTION PROCEDURE
- Online Registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk
- Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in the following subjects through e-Testing:
- All candidates with Pre-Medical background for Permanent Commission: English & Physics
- All candidates with Pre-Engg/ICS/DAE background for Permanent Commission: English, Physics & Maths
- 06 GD(P) Supplementary Course / 135 CSC: Academic Test in relevant subject
- Initial Medical Examination & Interview at I&S Centre.
- Initial Physical Test:
Test Type Qualification Criteria Running 1.5 mile 08 Minutes Push-ups 15 02 Minutes Sit-ups 20 02 Minutes Chin-ups 03 02 Minutes - Only Shortlisted candidates would be detailed for ISSB.
- Test/Interview by ISSB Kohat/Gujranwala/Malir/Quetta.
- Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore.
- Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) of GD(P) candidates only at I&SC Rawalpindi.
- After the final meriting selected GD(P)/AD candidates would be inducted in CAE for BE degree program as per ‘Service Requirements’, while remaining candidates would undertake BS in Aviation Management. Upon successful completion of the BE/BS programs, cadets would get permanent commission in PAF and GD(P) Course would be detailed for ‘Flying Training’ at PAFAA.
- Interview by AHQ Selection Board for CSC Candidates only.
- Final Selection by Air Headquarters in order of merit.
Note:
- Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply provided they have obtained 70% Marks in F.Sc/’A’ Level Part-I and bring a certificate from the Principal that they are likely to pass F.Sc/’A’ Level examination in the prescribed grades (F.Sc courses only). Candidates with ‘O’/’A’ Level background are required to produce equivalence (Pre-Engg/Pre-Medical/Computer Science) certificate.
- Candidates who have completed their educational qualification (SSC/HSSC/O&A Level/Equivalency etc) from national/foreign academic institutions are required to get attestation of their educational documents from IBCC prior reporting to PAFAA.
