Interested candidates who want to apply for Pakistan railways jobs 2025, first of all meet the eligibility criteria and other requirements to apply for Pakistan railways jobs. Male and female candidates both can apply for these jobs, Interested candidates can submit their applications on the prescribed form to the concerned SP Railway office in person, through a relative or through mail. The last date for submitting applications is 24.02.2025 at 12:00 midnight. Applications received by mail by 24.02.2025 will be accepted. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be accepted.

Quota Allocation

Recruitment will be done according to the provincial quota, details of which are as follows:

  • Punjab (including Federal Area/Islamabad): 50%
  • Sindh: 19%
    • Urban Areas (Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur): 40% of 19%
    • Rural Areas (excluding Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur): 60% of 19%
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 11.5%
  • Balochistan: 6%
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 1%
  • FATA (merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa): 3%
  • Azad Kashmir: 2%

In addition to the above quota, 10% for women and 5% for minorities are included in all positions. Since the recruitment for all the above positions is for Counter-Terrorism Force, Railway Police, recruitment will not be made on quota for disabled persons. Instructions for Candidates

  1. Candidates can obtain the prescribed application form from the Pakistan Railways Police website: https://pakrailwayspolice.gov.pk and the Pakistan Railways website: www.pakrail.gov.pk.

  2. Submit the application form along with all attested documents (Domicile Certificate, Character Certificate, three references, two passport-sized photographs, and four postal stamps with full name, address, and phone number written on them) to the concerned police station.

  3. Along with all documents, the candidate must submit a postal order of Rs. 500/- in the name of AIG Admin Pakistan Railways Police, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. The candidate’s CNIC number must be written on the back of the postal order. No application will be accepted without a postal order.

  4. No relaxation will be given to candidates in terms of height, chest, education, and age, etc.

  5. Candidates should come in white clothes.

  6. Physical test includes height, chest measurement, running ability, etc. It can be taken at the police station or through any testing agency.

  7. Candidates who qualify in the physical test will be shortlisted for the written/online MCQ test on merit. Successful candidates in the written/online test will be interviewed. The use of unfair means will disqualify the candidate.

  8. Government employees, including railway employees, must submit their application along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments. The upper age limit relaxation will be as per the rules.

  9. Candidates must pass each stage (physical, written, interview) to qualify for the next stage. Failure in any stage will disqualify the candidate for further stages.

  10. Candidates can be dismissed from the service at any time due to misconduct or any other deficiency. The decision of the Board will be final and binding on all.

  11. Each candidate must fill in their mobile number, email address, and complete address on the application form so that eligible candidates can be informed about other recruitment stages in time.

  12. In case of absence from the physical test, written test, and interview, the candidate will not be allowed to appear again.

  13. At the time of final selection, candidates will undergo a complete medical examination by the Railway Medical Officer. During the medical examination, a drug test will also be conducted, the cost of which the candidate will bear themselves. Candidates found positive for any banned substance during the medical check-up will be disqualified.

  14. No travel allowance (TADA) will be paid for travel to and from the physical test, written test, and interview.

  15. All candidates must submit an affidavit along with the prescribed form stating that they are not nominated or wanted in any FIR or case. Submitting a false affidavit will disqualify the candidate from recruitment in Pakistan Railways Police for life and legal action will be taken.

  16. The documents submitted with the application form will be verified against the originals. If any document is found to be fake, forged, or otherwise incorrect at any stage, the candidate (even if already appointed) will not only be dismissed from service but also face legal action.

  17. Security clearance is mandatory before issuing the appointment letter to the recruited candidate.

  18. The recruited candidate must pass the mandatory course for the relevant post. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from service.

  19. The selected candidate can be posted anywhere in Pakistan Railways Police.

Important Note

As per the orders issued by the Railway Board on January 20, 2025, the written test and interview for the 250 vacant posts in the Railway Police scheduled for February 2 and 4, 2025, are postponed. A separate notification for the new date, time, and venue will be issued later. Candidates who have already qualified the physical test as per the previous advertisement do not need to submit a fresh application. They will only appear for the written test and interview on the scheduled date and time, for which they will be issued a call letter.
